Cube Zero

A bad film, though not a broken or wretched one. "Cube Zero" is a common sort of bad film, with bad sets and bad dialogue and built around the bad idea that "Cube" needed a prequel. This feels like course correction, actually, with the plot going as it does due to characters acting on motivations, which counts as progress after the rigid "Hypercube". Also, there's some comedy to THIS, the least oppressive "Cube" film, having the most brutal death scene (referring to the first one). Props for trying to turn the franchise around, but it can't quite make that turn.
