Cult of Chucky

If "Curse" was an attempt at nailing the low-key nature of "Child's Play"'s first half (for a whole feature this time), "Cult" goes for the refuge in audacity that was "Child's Play 2". Where "Curse" chilled, "Cult" explodes, and while the result makes for an inferior sequel, it makes for the second straight Chucky film that is far more entertaining than it deserves to be. To get into the specifics of "Cult"'s tightrope would spoil more than I'd like, but know there were several times I had to pause because I was laughing too hard at the latest WTF bomb.
