Dave Chappelle: The Bird Revelation

It isn't until near the end of this "intimate" (read: boring) set that Chappelle stumbles onto an image that got a crack out of me. Spoiler: it's the image of Michael Jackson using homophobic language. It isn't an inherently funny concept, but in a set that features a multitude of poorly-constructed bits on top of defending sexual assault charges against his buddy Louis C.K., it's a high point. Chappelle's best material has always come when he's at his most focused and absurd, and in this loose setting, the only extended bit that works is the closer. All else is worthless.
