Divekick

S-Kill teleports around the stage a lot and is prone to yelling “Unbelievable!” and “It’s madness!” This is probably “Divekick”’s most straightforward joke outside of its general premise, so consider that the test for if this game is for you. I’m in touch with most of the humor here, but for every two jokes that land, there’s one that is ill-formed and arguably repugnant (the critiques of ethnic caricatures in fighting games are…let’s go with “problematic”). The strict adherence to an arguably broken tactic in fighting games allows for tense duels, but there are better simple combat simulators out there.
