Documentary Now! (Season One; billed as Season FIfty-One)

Credit where it's due: "Documentary Now!", a series of half-hour mockumentaries, shows its homework in aping the style of specific works to such a degree that anyone half-watching might mistake it for an actual documentary. It's a shame, then, that only half of these stories work as entertainment, and they're the episodes in which the crew remembers this show is supposed to be a comedy. The worst is the first episode, a "Todd Margaret"-esque funeral of funny that tries to justify itself with a twist ending. Half of what's here is great, don't get me wrong, but the other half...
