Dr. Mario 64
The fifth generation of console gaming saw one of the biggest leaps in technology in the art form’s history, and in this wave came “Dr. Mario 64” looking a literal console generation behind the times. I suspect the thinking behind its development goes that Nintendo knew a bunch of gamers had to sell off their libraries to buy new product but regretted letting go of “Dr. Mario”, so here’s a new version for the current console, one with better visuals that’s also harder and has a terrible story mode. I cannot think of another reason this needed to be made.
