El Hijo De Vikingo vs. Laredo Kid, the finals of the AAA Supercenter Tournament

For as fun as Vikingo is (and he’s buckets of fun in highlight reels), the little I’ve seen of him hints it is up to his opponents to craft a narrative, leaving the equivalent of “Harpo does something funny” where Vikingo does a running 630 senton or whatever. Laredo Kid has a good idea here, beating Vikingo up for a million years and levering the prestige of the match to ward off disqualification when bending the rules. The heat section feels a bit long, but it mostly pays off when Vikingo does a flipping whajamacallit and the people go bonkers.
