El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Kenny Omega, from the March 22, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite

My biggest problem with Vikingo matches, even some of his best work to date, have the requisite opening five minutes that don’t amount to anything and resemble nothing like the part of the match anyone will remember. This match solves that problem by doing away with it and being fireworks right off the bat, and while I’m sure there’s some fuddy-duddy arguing about the STORY or the RULES, he can be content in tagging Cornette on Twitter until eternity passes and everyone else can have fun watching the lightshow. The sort of match to share with your non-wrestling fan friends.
