Fantasy Strike

There was once, briefly, a time when “Fantasy Strike” was almost interesting: a deliberately simple fighting game whose mechanics reward those with strong fundamental play above someone willing to learn how to execute a killer combo. That time passed a long time ago, and between the faulty online play, terrible balancing, and lack of updates in ages, audiences have largely given up on the game, meaning just finding matches can take minutes where its market competitors take seconds. At least it’s free, unless you want to play local multiplayer, an odd and unwelcome choice among many involved with this game.
