FernGully: The Last Rainforest

The joke of “FernGully” is that, for as Important it was at its time, it registers as disposable these days. It answers the question of how Robin Williams would sound without decent direction (still charming but not as amusing as peak Williams), but everything else is 90’s as hell, with a white boy helping a white fairy to preserve a magical rainforest in, um, Australia, and Tim Curry’s villain song is about how he wants to seduce you because beware the gays. Tone Loc’s song about eating people is about sex, too. Nostalgia is the only reason to revisit this.
