Fleabag (Season Two)
“Fleabag”’s first season represented such a high point of tragicomedy and had such a great stopping point that I wasn’t sure it needed another six episodes. That the second (and final) season is even better puts this show among the best shows ever broadcast anywhere in the world. Waller-Bridge remains as magnetic as ever, Colman’s nest of vipers is glorious, and the relationship between Fleabag and The Priest is among the best storylines of the year, but for me, the standout is Clifford’s Claire, mining humor out of a character that would be a pest in lesser hands. Simply brilliant.
