Game Night (2018 film)

It isn’t uncommon for some half-baked comedies to come and go and score a tidy profit for little explicable reason besides a lack of competition on its release date, but surprise, “Game Night” ain’t one of those films. The script packs at least one good joke every two minutes, Daley and Goldstein’s direction works as enough pastiche of standard thrillers while leaving room for the physical comedy to land, and Rachel McAdams puts on one of the best comic performances of the decade. My only complaints are It sags in the second act and its runtime is a bit much.
