Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Battle of Los Angeles 2016 Stage Two (revisited)

I was convinced this set a new standard for in-ring action when I first watched it two years ago. Having seen new bars of quality set by NXT and New Japan over the course of the past two years, however, puts a slight dint on how I view this stellar card. It’s a fun night of wrestling with not a bad match on the card, but it has “only” one classic match and bottoms out with a match that’s merely “alright”. That wrestling standards have been measurably raised since this went down is a development I’m interpreting as a positive.
