Psycho Goreman

One part horrific parody of 80s family SF films like “E.T.” and one part excuse to use rejected Power Rangers costumes, “Psycho Goreman” is far less interesting than that sounds. The chief joke comes from engaging in extreme tones in the same scene, from children giving muted reactions towards extreme violence to almost everyone finding a way around saying “fuck” in a film whose title character is a genocidal alien force, which makes for an emotionless film I found difficult to engage with. If you’re not much for low budget shlock, you’re better off watching the fight scenes on YouTube.
