Rescue the Embassy Mission

An inelegant game, but it is surprising to see how many modern stealth and strategic shooting games have mechanics represented here. You are tasked with navigating around cones of light to get into position for either sniping targets that are close to windows or rappelling into the embassy and quickly taking out terrorists while keeping the hostages alive. It is a lot to channel through the NES, and corners are cut everywhere, but this version keeps the core experience alive well enough for a coherent experience. This is no “Rainbow Six Vegas”, but it is better than most “Rainbow Six”.
