Rob Van Dam vs. Hardcore Holly (Extreme Rules match), from the September 26, 2006 episode of WWE ECW

Rob Van Dam is a great high-flyer while Hardcore Holly is kind of a good brawler, and that doesn't seem like a good formula for a match. They had surprising chemistry in a previous five-minute outing, though, and with Bob Holly likely knowing this was his last chance at a main event singles run, he brings his working boots and a brutal creative side. The end result is probably the best WWE ECW match on free television (save perhaps one of several dozen Christian matches near the end of its run) and easily the best match of Hardcore Holly's career.
