Sareee vs. Chihiro Hashimoto for the World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana World Championship and Sendai Girls World Championship, from Sendai Girls Women's Pro Wrestling Big Show In Niigata

The simplest answer to the question “what makes a great match” is that the actions of the competitors make sense, the action itself is convincing enough to pass for an actual fight, and the whole thing is entertaining, and this match fits that description perfectly. I knew nothing of either competitor going into this one and I’m now huge fans of both. The story they told was that one of them kept making mistakes early on and tried to play keep-up by getting reckless, with the violence at once escalating from that and remaining wholly sensible in context. A classic.
