Satoshi Kojima vs. Jon Moxley / Dean Ambrose, from AEW All Out 2021

This feels a victim of bad card placement and audience ignorance. This was a hard-hitting encounter coming after a hard-hitting encounter that had higher stakes, and while Chicago were aware Kojima is a big deal, they didn’t know WHY he’s important, best illustrated by the muted reaction to two of his signature spots (the elbow drop while saying the Japanese equivalent of “C’mon, asshole” and teasing the Koji Cutter). I’m not saying this would’ve been an objectively better match under different circumstances, but it could have been easier to get on board with this one. A solid, short wrestling match.
