Schitt’s Creek (Season Four)

There’s a lot of compliments that COULD be levied at “Schitt’s Creek”, even after experiencing this miserable season: it is well-acted, the romance angles are okay, and there’s something refreshing about a show with a rural setting that doesn’t treat country folk as dumb bigots. All the same, “Schitt’s Creek” doesn’t do comedy well, with multiple episodes passing between good jokes and the good jokes not being all that great. If you think someone yelling “DAVID” several times counts as humor, this will be right up your alley, but I can’t imagine who in the blazes that would appeal to.
