Snatcher (Sega CD version)

“Humans are such weak creatures. No matter how much they trust one another, the tiniest spec of suspicion can destroy it all.”

Another Hideo Kojima project with stunning prescience (taking place decades after humanity was rocked by a pandemic), “Snatcher” is a silly cyberpunk story until halfway through, when the jokes subside in favor of, without getting into spoilers, the usual hallmarks of a Hideo Kojima plot. All throughout, “Snatcher” is proud to show off its world with arguably the most underrated soundtrack in video game history as well as fantastic artwork. Well worth the effort to get this running.
