Soccer (1985 NES video game)

A solid selection of NES sports titles are surprisingly good in spite of the system's limitations; y'all want the earliest great hockey, golf, and football video games, look to this system. "Soccer", in comparison, sucks. Moving feels more like a suggestion than a command, and the multitude of rules added to enforce interesting play are absent; the only thing keeping you from going offsides 24/7 is the unresponsive controls. Also, it's ugly. Quote some guy named Henry Flower in the comments section of the highest-viewed YouTube video about "Soccer": "This game was lame, sometimes I used to play it anyway."
