Some Kind of Wonderful (1987 film)
"Some Kind of Wonderful" is John Hughes's mulligan of "Pretty In Pink", with various parts gender-flipped and rewritten, and I struggle to understand how this doesn't get as much love as "Pink". The love triangle at the center of the film is a lot more earned and intriguing than "Pink"'s, and the ending of "Wonderful" is ten times as good as any of "Pink"'s endings. The most significant negative against it is its lack of over-the-top iconic moments, preferring instead to see what happens when the cast stays under the top, and that might account for its lack of recognition.
