Most good Mike Awesome matches are about considerable spectacle and brutality, so go figure the one time ECW books a squash match as the main event of a PPV that he decides to tell a story. Dudley is a resilient babyface and plays up the numerous injuries he suffers to perfection, and Awesome is almost twice Dudley’s size but doesn’t know what it will take to put this little bastard down and gradually accepts throwing the kitchen sink, the kitchen, and the rest of the house at the twerp. The result is arguably ECW’s most compelling main event title match.
