The Last of Us (Season One)
I can’t imagine how someone unfamiliar with the source material would react to this. It’s a great story told well, much like the original game, but for every change that is either a lateral move in quality or an outright upgrade is a change that, truth be told, isn’t bad but comes across as less preferential to me than what the game did. (I’ll not catalogue all the changes, but the interactive version of “Kin” had several fights to break up the conversations and I felt their absence here.) Perhaps I’m overthinking all of this. That’s my fate, I suppose.
