The Office (Season Four) (revisited)

For as bad as “The Office” has been up until this point (and make no mistake about it, it has been awful to a degree shows like “Two Broke Girls” and “Schitt’s Creek” could only wish to attain), there was always the promise it could turn things around. Season Four kills that hope, another awful season of television that also presents a multitude of creative changes that doom the show to being among the worst shows in the history of television. That there’s five seasons after this might be the strongest argument yet against the existence of a benevolent god.
