The Office (Season Five)

Andy goddamn Bernard, the “unfunny jerk who thinks he is hysterical”, wore out his welcome two seasons ago. I’m supposed to root for his comic comeuppance, but everyone has played ping pong with the idiot ball so hard that I don’t trust (or even want) anyone to upend this asshole. I do not seek his downfall; I wish he’d go away, like off a cliff. If some of the appeal of “The Office” owes to that you know these people in real life, I must ask why you’d want to be around these people any more than you’d have to.
