The Office (US version) (whole series)

Between its long-held insistence on not conveying any humor and its boggling doubling down on one of the worst characters in the history of fiction, “The Office” deserves to be regarded as a putrid and insultingly-terrible comedy along the lines of “Two Broke Girls”, “Hogan’s Heroes”, and “Heil Honey I’m Home!” (in which a Jewish couple find themselves living next door to Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun; it was mercifully canceled after one episode). There’s one season that is unexceptionally good; the rest range in quality from “bad” to “monstrously awful”, and the latter outnumber the former. Forty-two Emmy nominations.
