The Truffle Hunters

2021 graced us with a good litany of great documentaries, but if you’re not in the mood for something as heavy as corruption in Romanian health care, as boldly witty as the underside of an old folks home, or a three-hour recounting of the history of folk horror, here’s a bunch of old Italian dudes hanging out with their dogs hunting for mushrooms. It’s all lovingly and gorgeously shot, too, and I can imagine foodies would be over the moon for this. “The Truffle Hunters” is hardly essential viewing, but I believe most would have a fun time watching this.
