The Tower of Druaga (version found in the Switch port of “Namco Museum Archives Volume One” played for review)

I’m told this being a hit in Japan and sinking like a rock in the States owes to cultural differences, with Japanese players enjoying the process of collaborating to solve obscure puzzles and North American scum responding negatively to, say, not having any idea of what to do to meaningfully progress. I’d love to say I got wrapped up in the mystery of this game, but it is so poor at even conveying there’s a mystery to solve that I thought the avatar’s abysmal walking speed and terrible attack were features to work around rather than problems to solve. Aggravating.
