The Undisputed Era / reDragon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly) vs. Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) for the NXT Tag Team Championship, from WWE NXT TakeOver: Toronto

This was a night of complicated critical takes, where one match that dared to convey a slow burn was criticized for being placed after so many crowd-pleasing highspot-heavy encounters and a main event that was seemingly tailor-made to appeal to the sort of wrestling nerds who can tell you how many hour-long matches Trevor Lee has had didn’t go over as well as past matches between the two, leading to some questioning if they’ve been spoiled or if NXT has been good all along. Everyone liked this match, though, and why not, it was fun and full of sensible action.
