Tucker and Dale vs. Evil
The market for films like “Tucker” is somewhat oversaturated and that works to diminish some of the film’s best moments as well as highlight some of its lesser aspects—it spoils nothing to say it concludes with a proper slasher confrontation because that’s how all these films end. If you’ve not become sick of these, however, there’s a lot to love in “Dale”, mostly owing to the jokes coming from the filmmaking and scenarios above little winks and nudges. It’s a film where no one knows they’re in a horror or comedy, and that’s a rare element in these satires.
