Are You Afraid of the Dark? (Part One: Submitted for Approval)

To get away with being a miniseries rather than a soft reboot requires this to have a different approach than the original show, and this new show differentiates itself in two crucial ways, one of which is a gigantic spoiler, so, shutting up. The other sees us follow the protagonist as she crafts her story for the Midnight Society, channeling her nightmares to craft a little yarns that entertains and overcome her fears in the process, thus making this effort have more nutritional value than perhaps the original show’s entire run. I mean, the story she tells bites, but whatever.
