"Playtest" is both a love letter to video games as well as evidence that Brooker doesn't know how to approach them. He has a dim view of them, but he's invested in it enough to pepper a script with video game references, including ones that spoil the episode. The twists do little to distract; I called all of them. "Playtest" isn't terrible, but it might be the worst episode of this season.
