Hotline Miami (Switch version)

Any meaningful discussion of “Hotline Miami”, no matter how you interpret the game, needs to include acceptance of its failings. If you think it is a glorious murder simulator, you need to acknowledge that its pitiful line of sight, small sprites, and quick kills mean you’ll die too often to enemies that are off-screen. If you think it is a deconstruction of murderfests (or something), it bears mentioning that, between its incoherent plot and combo-intensive systems, it offers no perspective on its considerable violence save perhaps unintentional endorsement, which, yikes. These discussions never happened for reasons that are beyond me.
