Jigsaw (2017 film)

Watching “Saw Jig” is like hanging out with your alma mater’s party animal fifteen years past your graduation, initially coasting along fine on a combination of goodwill and agreeable energy until the night wears on too long and you start to wonder what you’re even doing here. It’s dumb, it’s gory, it has plot holes the writers have explained away by saying “crap, we thought no one would notice”, and the ending asks more questions than it answers, only staying out of the red thanks to its crowd-pleasing antics and not actively insulting the intellect. Not the worst soft reboot.
