Superman Smashes the Klan

I suppose I missed a substantial part of the advertising for this because I believed this was little more than a recap and history lesson on a radio serial that’s more than half a century old. In actuality, “Smashes” is an adaptation of that story but with so many changes made that it’s almost a new narrative. Between the playful art style and surprising depth given to the cast, I’d have an easy time recommending this to pretty much everyone, including people who have never touched a comic book in their lives. The best Superman-related work in a long time.
